Your pepperoni is tastier and of better quality than most. Why?
My pepperoni is made in the traditional Italian method using a unique blend of 8 herbs and spices. Using the finest domestic pork and beef, they dry it for at least 14 days in their aging rooms to develop its outstanding firmness and flavor. It’s always fresh, never frozen and contain no fillers, extenders, or by-products! Ask the other guys if they can say that!
Mushrooms on pizza are often bland, but yours are so flavorful. How come?
My mushrooms are so yummy because they’re special. We are one of a select few pizza operations that use only Number 1 grade button and medium mushrooms. This means our mushrooms are white, fresh, firm and full of flavor. The number 2 grade, “matures”, used by most chains are older and blemished. We choose the freshest produce for the Freshest Taste in Pizza.
I’m confused. So how large is a Family Size pizza?
No wonder you’re confused! Large, Extra Large, Giant? Many of the “other guys” large pizzas only measure 14" across and a national “biggie” even shrunk their large to 13"! Watch out, while they have BIG names, they may be shrinking the size or skimping on the quantity and quality of toppings. Papa Murphy’s family size measures up to anyone’s large pizza. Our family size is loaded with the freshest and tastiest premium toppings available. Our family size Murphy’s Combo weighs over 4 pounds. Nobody makes a family size premium pizza like Papa Murphy’s.
The sausage you put on your pizzas is wonderful! Can you tell me what makes it taste so authentic?
As with all the toppings I use, quality ingredients are the key. My sausage has been specially prepared and aged so its zesty flavor captures the taste of authentic Italian sausage. Also it’s pre-cooked so that you can serve your family a leaner sausage. I use it on many of my pizzas, but you may want to try it in my Gourmet Classic Italian pizza. It’s delicioso!
What makes Papa Murphy’s delicious Chicago-Style Stuffed Pizza™ so special?
Our stuffed pizza is layered with premium salami and pepperoni, Italian sausage, beef, onion mix and nearly a pound of cheese. We then top it with another layer of dough, sauce, cheese, Roma tomatoes and green onions. (Whew!) We don’t just top our pizza, we load it up with quality ingredients. It weighs over 5 lbs.
What makes your pizza crust so delicious? Unlike other brands, I eat every crumb.
The secret of my great tasting crust is the flour. We use only high protein, high gluten flour produced with only premium wheat, especially for Papa Murphy’s. Others skimp on their dough by using low protein flour. This saves money but sacrifices flavor. We also make our dough fresh every day. At Papa Murphy’s you’ll get the Freshest Taste in Pizza.
Is there a difference in your mozzarella cheese & the cheese some chains use?
Yes. My mozzarella cheese is made the traditional way, using only Grade A pasteurized milk and the proper aging time to enhance the flavor. Many pizza places use cheaper cheese that has been rushed through processing . Some even use “imitation” cheese made from soy beans? Our cheddar and provolone are also high quality, real cheeses. We grate our cheese fresh daily.
Your Gourmet pizzas feature a delicious creamy garlic sauce. What makes your sauce so good?
My Chicken Garlic, Classic Italian and Gourmet Vegetarian pizzas have a unique, creamy garlic sauce. I developed it in response to customer requests for a lighter sauce to complement the garden fresh vegetables and premium quality meats I use for toppings. My creamy garlic sauce is packed with a blend of herbs and freshly chopped garlic guaranteed to tantalize your taste buds!
What makes the pineapple on your Hawaiian Pizza taste so great? I just love it!
My Hawaiian Pizza tastes great because we use only Dole® brand pineapple cubes versus the cheaper pineapple products used by other pizza places. The superior taste, texture, and color of our Dole® pineapple is a result of their tightly controlled quality standards. Do any of your products contain MSG?
Papa Murphy's uses the best ingredients available and does not allow any MSG in the product formulations or ingredients in our products. Nor do we allow any artificial colors, fillers or TVP (textured vegetable protein) in any of our products.
